Add-ons Now Available During the Campaign! Here's how to get them!

Hello everyone, if you weren't aware up until now, it was rare that during a Kickstarter campaign you could add "add-ons" to your pledge. This is because this feature has been in beta for a while and has been dished out semi-randomly to campaigns. At the start of the campaign we were unable to use this feature, but have now been granted it!
How do I get them if I have already pledged?
If you want either or both of the two glorious pin sets added to your pledge so you can receive them at the same time as you do your game, but you have already pledged, then you need to follow a couple of simple sets. Simply go to manage your pledge, then go to select a different award, then select the award you were already pledging at (or change it if you would like), and at that point, you should have access to the add-on option.
How do I get them if I haven't already pledged?
Simply select the pledge level you want, and the add-on option should be there! For any pledge, add-ons do not affect shipping costs, so don't worry about that!

Vote for the Name of the Tranquil Sushi Chef! + New Critic Name Results Reveal + Development Sketches

These names were picked because they each have some significance to this chef as a character. Some like Mizuki translate to "water moon" whilst Ryuu means dragon, which very much describes this chef's personality. All four names were also common baby names in Japan in the 1950s.

Hello everyone, meet Kenneth! Thank you all so much for voting in the last update, I do really think it is cool that backers get to be involved in the development of the game whilst the campaign is running. Kenneth was the first critic drawn up by Fodsley when they were asked to start working on the stretch goal, which we are SO CLOSE to hitting, and I'm so happy that Kenneth will be in the game once we hit it!

New Critic Card Reveal & You Get To Name Them! VOTE NOW!

This critic is from Nigeria and is the youngest of the critics at just 22 years old. The names chosen are partially based on uncommon Nigerian names with cool and apt meanings, as well as random names based on our personal opinions of what he looks like. (I won't spoil my thoughts, but I will be very disappointed if my name isn't picked).
60% of the way to the first stretch goal!
This fellow is one of the new critics being created ahead of us reaching the first stretch goal for 10 additional illustrations being added to the game. My by calculations, we should reach it this week so I wanted to get Fodsley working on it right away so we can show off the critics as we reach that goal.
This means though that this card will only be included in the game IF we reach the stretch goal for the 10 additional illustrations, so make sure to tell your friends and to keep engaging with the updates and campaign so we can get more eyes on the project!

Hello, this is Niall from Crab Studios, and I just wanted to start off this update by saying a huge thank you to all the backers that made this game fund, and so quickly as well! On top of that, because we funded so quickly (definitely within 48 hours, every backer who pledges £15 or higher will receive a FREE awesome poster!!). When I pressed the launch button yesterday, I did not think for a second that I would be writing this update so soon. Thank you!
Stretch Goal #1
After funding so quickly (thanks to all you lovely people) it only makes sense to start looking towards the next target, which is £2000. At £2000, I will be able to afford to pay the game's artist Fodsley to make another 10 illustrations for the game, which will make the cards more varied and interesting to look at, as well as give us an opportunity to add more lore to the world of Food Time Battle. Fodsley is already working on one of the critics to show off to you all, so once we hit the stretch goal, make sure to stay tuned!
What can you do to help us reach stretch goals?
Not everyone wants to pledge more money than what the tier states, and with good reason, so how else can you help the game grow and become the best it can be? Well, based on my knowledge about the Kickstarter algorithm, alongside other industry member's input, I put together a shortlist of easy things you can do, which can go a really long way.

With the completion of the 10 subscriber social stretch goal card for boardgamegeek, we are already at 2 out of 5 stars! This means we are just under 50% of the way there to unlocking free postcards for everyone who backs at £15 or higher! As a celebration, we have organised and impromptu game night on Thursday of this week. It will be in the evening times GMT, and will be hosted in the Crab Studios Discord server. Dutch Rulebook Translation
I just wanted to add in this first update, a massive thank you to one of our lovely backers who provided us with a Dutch rulebook translation free of charge! It's very important to myself specifically that all our games at Crab Studios are as accessible as possible, and seeing that we have a community that share my values is wonderful!
